Last Updated: 5/21/2021

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Well Versed, LLC (“Well Versed”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you access or use our website and other services (collectively, the “Services”).

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage). Your continued use of this website following notification will constitute your acceptance of any changes to this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, Well Versed, LLC provides this notice explaining its online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. By using this website, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, this Privacy Policy, and the collection of information as provided in this Privacy Policy.

2.) The Information We Collect.

The information you submit to Well Versed, LLC is used to provide you with a personalized offer, fulfill your order, contact you, if necessary, to clarify your instructions, process or collect payment, or otherwise complete your order, and for certain other reasons as set forth below. The personal information collected on this website includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Special instructions regarding your order

Please keep in mind that if we are providing you with editorial, translation, consultation, or other Services, there is some information we will need to keep in order to complete those Services and bill you.

3.) How We Use Information.

(a) We do not share the information you provide to us with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your order, provide you with Services, or as otherwise provided below. We will never sell your information. We will send you strictly Service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if we need to contact you regarding your order, we might send you an email.

(b) Well Versed, LLC uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website. To accomplish this type of analysis, we use both cookies and log file data.

(i) A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies for navigation and browser session maintenance and to understand traffic patterns generally on this website. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Session ID cookies are not tied to your personal information.

(ii) Like most standard website servers, we use log files to analyze trends, administer the website, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Log files include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks.

(c) We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

(d) Unless you notify us in writing to the contrary, and subject to our Privacy Policy as in effect from time to time relating to your materials and information, Well Versed, LLC is authorized to include your name and testimonial in a list of clients and testimonials on our website and in other marketing materials.

4.) Our Commitment to Data Security.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, Well Versed, LLC has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information it collects online. We provide TLS encryption to ensure the secure transmission of all your information when you place an order, including your payment details. We recommend using the latest available version of your web browser software to ensure that strong encryption is supported by your browser. You accept responsibility for ensuring the activation of the security features of your browser or computer, which enable it to communicate your information securely to our website/the third-party site you use to pay us.

5.) Third-Party Websites.

Our services may contain links to other websites or services, especially to collect payment. We are not responsible for such websites’ or services’ privacy practices. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of every website and service you visit before providing your personal information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party websites and services.

Payments may be accepted via Wise, PayPal, Stripe, or bank deposit (EU clients only). By submitting your payment information, you grant us the right to store and process your information with the third-party payment service(s), which may change from time to time; you also agree that Well Versed will not be responsible for any failures of the third party to adequately protect such information. All financial matters regarding your information are subject to the conditions of the third-party payment service providers’ terms of service, available on those providers’ websites. You should direct any privacy concerns about those services to that company directly. You acknowledge that we may change the third-party payment service and move your information to other service providers that encrypt your information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) or other comparable security technology.
